Poetry personification is a wonderful thing - as old as shamans dancing, "becoming" the bear, the horse, the eagle and in so doing, taking a different point of view, taking a different perspective, learning something important, having an amazing experience. Personification exercises are amongst the most interesting poetry exercises there are - by all means, have a go! This is mine today, I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading the personification poem "I am the wind" :-)
Creative Writing
Project Sanctuary takes creative writing to a whole new level. Data streams from the Energy Mind which we call sensions, as they are 6 sense information streams, and not just "what we see," are translated into language as smoothly as possible.
The data streams set the level of abstraction, the experience, and the language used to describe the experience for the reader.
Creative writing with Project Sanctuary is sometimes called "stories from the other side of the paradigm shift."
For many years now, I have routinely recommended Laura Ingall's "Little House On The Prairie" as THE book to choose for people who want to learn to read properly - like a proper reader would, not sounding out words on a string but stepping into an alternate reality where you feel, see, hear and EXPERIENCE the story. The reason for this is that Laura Ingalls used to describe the world to her blind sister Mary and thus became an expert at "making the world come to life" for another person in as few words as possible. If, as a writer of poetry or a writer in general, you would like to make it easy for your readers to step into YOUR reality, then Laura Ingalls is the perfect model for this. Here is a simple poetry exercise based on Laura Ingalls and her unique experiences.
This poetry exercise from 2003 has helped lots of people "get into the flow" of writing poetry that doesn't come from the thinking mind since it was first published. A very useful poetry exercise that goes way beyond "just writing poetry" and every time I do this, I am again and again amazed at the wonderful sensations that come when visions, feelings, images and energies simply stream into your mind, and through your fingertips onto the keyboard. Highly recommended!
I asked for a Healing Poem today - and received The Starry Gift. Can you heal me of my days
This is bit of fun which came about as I went to a poetry forum which had a section for "wool gathering and strange ideas" - but there wasn't a single entry! How disappointing! I wanted to remedy the situation and make a post. At first I thought I might post about the ultraviolet beings but then instead, wrote this especially ... ..
Following many requests, here is "The Prayer For A Sick Animal". This healing prayer can be used by Christians as a Christian healing prayer for sick animals, but also by anyone who wants to use the power of prayer for healing.
A good story has the power to heal.
Silvia writes: On the Project Sanctuary forum, I set a "Game of the Week" every so often. Players can, if they want to, play the game, Sanctuary style, and some will post the results of the game back to the forum. This week's game was as follows: "By whichever means you choose, travel to a different planet. Somewhere you have never been before. Let yourself be taken there and observe, do as must be done, then return. Travel broadens the mind :-) " Here are seven fascinating and very different stories about this journey, all of which illustrate some important aspects of playing Project Sanctuary nicely. And apart from that, they are fascinating stories, generated spontaneously and instantly - once you know how to play for your own personal development and creativity practice.
Sometimes, very rarely, a project comes along that has a life of its own. It has a will of its own, a power and an insistency - you can't do anything else than follow THAT, do THAT, no matter how full the hard may be already. "The Soul Pilots" was one of those projects. The time was there, the time was right - and the first ever Project Sanctuary Masters in space and time (!) had just assembled for the first time. It was All Hallow's Eve, with Solstice just on the horizon, and so we got together to do Soul Pilot missions and to document them so that others can be amazed, and hopefully, inspired.
Starfields writes: Sometimes I feel a little bit guilty about the advantages Project Sanctuary holds for a person. Take Nanowrimo, for example - the National Novel Writing Month. It's not national, it's very international but the aim is the same: to write a novel of 50,000 words minimum in 30 days. Project Sanctuary is a form of advanced data streaming from the energy mind, for those do not know that yet, and if you have some experience with it, it can be used for a great many things, as you get to consciously set the parameters of what exactly it is you want your energy mind to do for you. In this case, the parameters were as follows:
Stop creating realities that hurt you - realise that!

Writing tip to keep writing and not get bounced out because you can't think of a word
Silvia Hartmann Β writes: When Project Sanctuary gets going, we have EXPERIENCES. These are "other than" simply imaginings; they are autogenic experiences whilst awake which are very much related to, and feel like, lucid dreams. You could call them visions, if you wanted; the key thing is that these experiences have a numinous quality and the person who has them, KNOWS that they are of a different order than just visualisation, fantasy or day dreaming.
Helena writes: There is an enormous power in writing things down (or drawing them), because the moment I had written my last email, it's like a light went up and suddenly I realised that I had indeed started making progress and that the whole secret was no to try to hurry things up. Things HAD been changing, but very gradually and I had just been too impatient to get it over with. I also realised that I don't even have to lie down to be in Sanctuary since that's when I tend to fall asleep or when my thoughts start racing. I know what the story is, and here it comes in a shortened version.
