Toxic Tales: How The Wrong Stories Can Make You Sick

A good story has the power to heal.

A story is a containers for energy forms that the reader or listener "ingest" in the same way as someone would take a physical pill by eating it.

The wrong stories can be toxic, like the wrong chemicals - stories of misery and depression, of loss and defeat are unhealthy and we must learn to spot the toxic tales, avoid them, reject them and replace them with healing stories instead.

Unfortunately we are surrounded by these toxic stories every day - that's what we hear on the news every day, that's what we often hear in the personal environment as well,

"Did you hear about so-and-so? He had a terrible traffic accident and now he's in a wheelchair and his wife has left him ..."

Very few people really understand just how such toxic tales can work like a poison, or a virus, which will weaken the energy system and over time, can erode health and happiness.

As we choose to eat good quality foods and take vitamins, we need to learn to leave off the toxic tales and instead, turn to healthy stories, inspiring stories and stories that build up our strength from the inside out.

How do we know if a story is a toxic tale?

To find that out, we need to look at the overall message of the story.

When all is said and done, at the end of the day - what's the message here?

This goes much further than the general "happy ending" because this may not be what the message of the story is all about.

For example, there is TV advertisement running at the moment for a health insurance company. A woman finds out she has cancer. She goes to the "special doctor" provided by the health insurance company. He makes it all better. The woman is happy.

Is that a happy ending?

Sure. But what's the ACTUAL MESSAGE?

That you will die if you don't have health insurance?

That ONLY if you have health insurance can you be sure of being saved from cancer?

Is this a healing story - or a toxic tale?

Does this story help to engage and further the person's OWN INNATE HEALING POWERS - or does it the opposite?

These questions help you determine if a story is healing, or harmful, regardless of how much it is prettied up, or how happy the smiles at the end might be.

The story of the "toxic tales" is huge - it is an untold story for the most part, and very few people realise what the impact of these toxic tales on our human expectation, performance and health really are, especially in the long run.

To seek out healing stories, events and energies that HELP US rally our own innate healing powers and that SUPPORT us in the processes of healing and health, is at this point a highly personal journey, with no teachers and tutors to guide the way.

The first step we need to take is to become aware of stories, how we respond, and what is going on behind the scenes of seemingly happily smiling people with their happy endings.

The second step is to outright reject stories that are clearly detrimental to our own processes and development, just as we would completely reject toxic food, spoiled food, and not allow such things that aren't good for us to enter our bodies.

There are many things in this world which we cannot control, but we CAN choose the stories we decide to listen to, and the stories we tell to others.

Let's make sure we tell a healing story, and not a toxic tale.
