Creative Writing
Project Sanctuary takes creative writing to a whole new level. Data streams from the Energy Mind which we call sensions, as they are 6 sense information streams, and not just "what we see," are translated into language as smoothly as possible.
The data streams set the level of abstraction, the experience, and the language used to describe the experience for the reader.
Creative writing with Project Sanctuary is sometimes called "stories from the other side of the paradigm shift."
In 2007, an aspect of mine wrote a special HypnoDreams album - one that was not for other people, or for sale, but only for me. Based on the "voices in the night," it was absolutely designed to be a gift for a future self who might need to hear these words, to calm her and inspire her, help her through the night. And it has, on many, many occasions and remains one of my favourite "poem collections" to date ... Full texts of all the "poems" and the song on this poetry album.
The Dragon Lords & The Naked Writer Project with Silvia Hartmann report and pictures.
Recently recovered, here is the original Genius Symbols poem/spell/dedication which was created of course, using the Genius Symbols in the order and sequence they appeared on the day.
Way back in the day, 1996, when the Internet was young, I joined a poetry forum. With my welcome message from the moderator, I was directed to a list of words which one must never use in a poem.
Oh really ... ;->
Forbidden words in poetry ...?
Silvia Hartmann writes: I am best known for personal development research, so the question is often asked, "Why do you waste your time with Fantasy Fiction novels? Why bother? Why not write some more How To's that's what you're good at, that's what makes the money ..."
The answer is simple. Without such things as In Serein, there would be no EMO, no Energy Magic, no HypnoDreams, no Genius Symbols and there would be no Events Psychology.
How is it possible that writing a "fantasy" novel ends up creating advanced personal development techniques?
For the tenth anniversary of The In Serein Trilogy we have a brand new website to read my favourite Fantasy Fiction novel online - all three books complete, Book 1, Sorcerer & Apprentice, Book 2, The Cage and Book 3, The End of Dreams. Check it out!
This collection of poetry contains some of my personal favourite poems of all times - Steel Lord obviously, my ode to Lord Lucian; but there are also some other poems that I've always particularly loved, such as Mission, The Alien Hunter, and Unicorn Union which gives the collection its title.
One day I'll find an open mike poetry night somewhere and read Unicorn Union out aloud ...
Whilst transferring an old static website, this collection of poetry exercises called Sanctuary Poems dated March 2000 was found in a sub folder.
These poetry exercises use imagery of environments (Project Sanctuary habitats) to create a metasong flow. But apart from that, they're cool and even the html is a poetic blast from the past.
Enjoy The Sanctuary Poems.
This is a very rare little book of poetry - Fairy Tales by Silvia Hartmann, May 1994. Only 24 copies were printed in the first place, and this is the last known battered survivor.
Fairy Tales contains 23 poems: Tarot - Spell - Silent Mirror - Pyramid - Ghost - Soul Hunter - Scylla & Charybdis - Bride of Christ - Message - Sleeping Beauty - Seagulls - Peter Pan - 100 - Wild Apprentices - Agenda - Sword - Castle - Candle - The Book - To Find The Child - Magic Carpet - Waterway - Bedtime. Enjoy.
There's so many things you can do with the Genius Symbols - creative story telling is of course amongst them, and this can have many uses. A recent example is a story for terminally ill children, to inspire them and support them, created with the Classic Game by a student on the Genius Symbol course. Read the story, what the children thought to it and find out the contract that was used.
A visitor asked, "How do I write a riddle poem?" Great question! Great inspiration - a riddle poem is a brilliant poetry exercise, and it produces quite amazing poems. Riddle poems are also especially easy to do, and the process how you come up with a deep and meaningful riddle poem is straightforward.
Here is how to write a riddle poem, step by step - plus three riddle poems for examples as well. Enjoy!
I believe there is a lot we can learn from each other at any time, but especially sharing the Soul Pilot story is an important part of the process of learning more about the other worlds.
Each story has insights and important information to transmit, and the experiences of other Soul Pilots are invaluable. Lots can be learned about how to do it, how not to do it, and of course, these are stories which we would never encounter ourselves because we each have our own specific resonance.
Here are some tips for writing up the Soul Pilot story so that others can share in the experience.
A magic wedding poem, that doubles as a magic love spell.
Two Dragons is the perfect poem for a pagan wedding ceremony such as handfasting.
An inspirational poem and a childhood memory, a lesson in life, a truth about life - we are not as helpless as we think ... sometimes ...
Whilst working on a catalogue of paintings, in which I have added as a detail if there is a poem or a story to go with the painting, I came across the German poem Zaubervogel.
I was going to add it to the catalogue as was, but then decided to translate the German poem into English. As I'm the author, and therefore know "what I was trying to say" (!) this was easy and interesting too.
Here is the original German poem Der Zaubervogel and my translation, the Magic Bird. Oh, and the painting. Of course ... :-)
Inspirational poem, rhyming poem - it came about quite spontaneously whilst writing the 1,000th post to the VIP forum today, April 15th, 2010.
Hence ...
A thousand roads I've travelled ...
Poets are funny people ... must be writing all that poetry that does it!
Stands to reason ... !
Here's a funny poem about the soul of the poet from 2006.
Now everyone nose that for a magic spell to work, it has to be like a poem, with rhythm, and of course, it has to rhyme. But oh! Making a poem that rhymes is sooo difficult!!!
Take heart, my witchy friend! Here is an easy peasy lemon squeezy simple little poem and poetry exercise in rhythm and rhyme that will help you rhyme with the best in no time at all.
Poetry personification is a wonderful thing - as old as shamans dancing, "becoming" the bear, the horse, the eagle and in so doing, taking a different point of view, taking a different perspective, learning something important, having an amazing experience. Personification exercises are amongst the most interesting poetry exercises there are - by all means, have a go! This is mine today, I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading the personification poem "I am the wind" :-)
For many years now, I have routinely recommended Laura Ingall's "Little House On The Prairie" as THE book to choose for people who want to learn to read properly - like a proper reader would, not sounding out words on a string but stepping into an alternate reality where you feel, see, hear and EXPERIENCE the story. The reason for this is that Laura Ingalls used to describe the world to her blind sister Mary and thus became an expert at "making the world come to life" for another person in as few words as possible. If, as a writer of poetry or a writer in general, you would like to make it easy for your readers to step into YOUR reality, then Laura Ingalls is the perfect model for this.
Here is a simple poetry exercise based on Laura Ingalls and her unique experiences.
This poetry exercise from 2003 has helped lots of people "get into the flow" of writing poetry that doesn't come from the thinking mind since it was first published. A very useful poetry exercise that goes way beyond "just writing poetry" and every time I do this, I am again and again amazed at the wonderful sensations that come when visions, feelings, images and energies simply stream into your mind, and through your fingertips onto the keyboard. Highly recommended!
I asked for a Healing Poem today - and received The Starry Gift.
Can you heal me of my days can you heal me of my years can you take away the burdens ...?
This is bit of fun which came about as I went to a poetry forum which had a section for "wool gathering and strange ideas" - but there wasn't a single entry! How disappointing! I wanted to remedy the situation and make a post. At first I thought I might post about the ultraviolet beings but then instead, wrote this especially ... ..
