Whilst transferring an old static website, this collection of poetry exercises called Sanctuary Poems dated March 2000 was found in a sub folder.

These poetry exercises use imagery of environments (Project Sanctuary habitats) to create a metasong flow. But apart from that, they're cool and even the html is a poetic blast from the past.

I was just uploading a piece of art called Angel City when this poem came to me.

And in the middle of writing it, the postman knocked on the door and delivered a parcel with opalite angels  - wonderful timing :-)

Don asked: Hi there, I have just purchased the Genius Symbols e-book, which is great. I am having trouble relating to the symbol of the alien. Its not that I don't believe in aliens I just am not drawn to them in any way. I don't read sci-fi and Im not interested in outer space. So as a metaphor it is something I don't relate to. Must I use this symbol?

The day is fair, bright and breezy, a meadow underfoot that never saw a scythe or herds of sheep.

Last night, I settled in to see the first Episode of HBO's new power fantasy fiction show, Game Of Thrones, with a little trepidation. Still, Sean Bean was playing a lead role and with the hope that his character wouldn't be slain within the first 15 minutes, I pressed "play ..."

The other day, this poem, The Oldest Castle, sprang to mind when I was trying to explain to someone why you mustn't give up too soon when you are dealing with memories and trying to remember a genesis event. After much searching, today I finally found it - dated 5.6.1994.

A crystal healing poem - The Crystal Kingdom.

The poem can be used as an energy evocation at a crystal healing workshop or as a starting point for a crystal meditation.

Once upon a time, in a land not as far away as we might think, there lived a fairy who was very sad indeed.

For it was so that all fairies there had wonderful long tails, very elegant they were and really helped to keep the balance when they flew; and there were sparkly, shiny tails of many colours and all the fairies took great pride in grooming, oiling and massaging their tails so they would be just as proud and shiny as they could be.

A visitor asked if I had any poems suitable for a funeral for a friend. I have three funeral poems here; God's Speed is a funeral poem for a friend; Pyramid for a lover, and Upward for the funeral of a person who had no friends and may not have been a good person in this life. Hope it helps some.

This is a very rare little book of poetry - Fairy Tales by Silvia Hartmann, May 1994. Only 24 copies were printed in the first place, and this is the last known battered survivor.

To me, poems are a way to express oneself without having to look over the shoulder at ol' Granma grammar, without some teacher standing by with a rod to hit your knuckles if you says somming what they dunnot likes.

Freedom with words.

Do as you please, what you will; I sometimes do. Here's why I love Misty Mornings ...

A gentleman wrote: "I would love to write a love poem for my wife - it is our anniversary - but I'm no good with words ... Can you recommend a poem for a husband who can't write a love poem?"

So I wrote one specially for all those gentlemen out there who don't have the words, with material assistance from Lord Lucian, and on their behalf. Enjoy!

Rob Fox writes: I wanted to let you know about my first experience of giving The Gift. I was visiting my Mother, dropping off a DVD I had ordered for her. She seemed really down and complained of cold chills and an icy feeling in her stomach. She said she was feeling a little depressed too. This is a challenging game because it involves 12 personal and unique stories of healing to be played wholeheartedly; each person who plays it will of course be sent the exact right clients to help that one unique person evolve. Here are my 12 stories of healing, courtesy of Project Sanctuary, which really is the greatest game on Earth.

A fun little anecdote from a TGS afficionado has a highly strung fashionista girlfriend who was to attend a special event and throwing a tantrum over which one of four possible hair salons to choose for the perfect hair styling.

There's so many things you can do with the Genius Symbols - creative story telling is of course amongst them, and this can have many uses. A recent example is a story for terminally ill children, to inspire them and support them, created with the Classic Game by a student on the Genius Symbol course. Read the story, what the children thought to it and find out the contract that was used.

Dimitra Paraschou from Greece is a Genius Symbol and Project Sanctuary student who volunteers to help out with terminally ill children at her local hospital, talking to them and reading stories for them.

She created a lovely new story, using the Genius Symbols and the Classic Game, something that would entertain but also enlighten and inspire. You can read the story here and also what happened when she told the story of The Pirate's Treasure to the children on the ward.

Imprinting or charging water with intention is one of those things that divides the skeptics from the believers. However, if you are really smart, you'll realise that actions combined with intention have a powerful effect on the human psyche and can be used to bring about positive change, whether you believe in energy or not.

Here's an exercise to create a powerful "magic potion" using the Genius Symbols, your intention and a bottle of plain water that we will turn into Genius Water that money can't buy.
