In Project Sanctuary we say, "Don't talk about it, don't try to analyze it,
just play the game."
What this means is that when you are inside a game, a dream, a vision or a sension, a
journey it doesn't serve to analyze it, and definitely trying to psychoanalyze
what's going on isn't going to get anything done.
We also say, "You can't learn Project Sanctuary by reading or talking or
thinking ABOUT it. You need to do it to understand it."
However, Project Sanctuary is designed for both the conscious and the energy
mind so they get to work together as a team, and there are some ideas and
insights that can help us consciously when we begin to engage with Project
Sanctuary and play the games ourselves.
In this spirit, here are some patterns, techniques and theory about Project
Sanctuary.

Project Sanctuary can provide all manner of ways and means in which we can make it easier to learn new skills, or break the ice on the idea that something can't be learned or is out of our reach.
From Autogenic Practice to resolving road blocks to learning, and from acquiring essential skills to choosing the right assistants, trainers, teachers and environments, there are literally infinite ways in which we can make learning fun - even if it should be Ballroom Dancing!
Would you like to know what metaphors really are, and how to work with metaphors most powerfully, regardless of whether you want to do this for therapy, for art, for creativity or simply because you know there's something incredibly magical about metaphors?
One of the core practices in NLP and personal development in general is to "visualise the desired outcome state" of a goal and to make it as real as possible.
Now I have my problems with the entire concept, but here's something for advanced Project Sanctuary users or beginner magicians, much the same thing really, that works a little different and may turn out to be slightly ... hmmmm ... well shall we be careful and say, more effective?
More transformative?
This short article from 1997 states the basic ten presuppositions of the worlds from which Project Sanctuary originates.
Pink Patsy is a pattern which is applicable to very long standing problems of all kinds; at it's outside edges it becomes extremely complicated and hard to track in consciousness, but the central point is easily grasped.
I think it's probably a more important pattern than we have conceived of so far and invite you personally to both try it out as well as keep experimenting with various aspects of it. In the context of general Sanctuary interventions, it becomes highly relevant to any number of puzzles.

Improve Self Hypnosis, Psychic Abilities, Emotional Intelligence? How?!
We have learned by now that we have a range of needs that cannot actually be fulfilled in the Hard, but are and always were energetic in origin and need to be addressed energetically. This is an essay of unfulfilled human relationship needs and how to go about making use of the human ability to create neurosomatic responses - in other words, how to make all parts of you be happier and give you what you really need, through the medium of the Dream Lover.
