How To Create A World Like Game Of Thrones and Lord of The Rings

On a Game of Thrones fansite, someone posted, "Hard to believe that one man can create such a huge world with a rich complicated history." Another said, "I have no idea how he did that!" referring to Lord of The Rings.

Here's how to create such complex worlds.

The first thing you need is TIME. Time and attention. So now I've lost 99.999% already who are far too busy to dedicate a significant portion of their lives to making such a world, or rather, describing such a Universe.

The second thing you need is your energy mind (previously known as the sub- or unconscious mind; it is neither).

Although you can create a typical Hollywood piece of crap "blockbuster" consciously, by sticking bits and pieces from a story here and there together in a "winning formula" consciously, you absolutely cannot create an organic universe of the type we find in Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings by consciously thinking about it. It's impossible. Thank f***k for that.

Now, and although every person has their own energy mind, whether they like it or not, very few people know how to use it. Even fewer people know how to get a co-operation going between the conscious mind and the energy mind, which creates the SuperMind - a thinking operating system that is more than the sum of the parts.

I have been working with this for decades and it's actually quite simple.

Human beings have access to two realities. The one we call The Hard, which is every day experience; the other we call Otherworlds and that is purely autogenic.

We can pay attention to one or the other; and with a bit of practice, that leads to being lucid both in the Hard as well as in the Otherworlds.

The Otherworlds are accessed through an outpost we call The Sanctuary; a protected space where newbies can practise, a universal sand box as it were, to learn the ways of the energy mind.

The energy mind is an organic, natural system that works with organic, natural logic and can process more information than you possibly imagine.

It is the energy mind which creates the "worlds" of Martin and Tolkien, and of course, my worlds too, and your worlds, if you want to spend the time to create one.

You can unfold an entire universe from a single object, or world seed. The reason this works is that for any object to exist at all, there has to be ... (a planet, a solar system, gravity, someone who made it, the materials it was made from, a way in which these materials were fashioned/combined to create the object, etc. etc. etc. etc.).

There is literally nothing that isn't going to create an entire world, which sits within an entire universe, which sits in an entire multiverse!

As far as the energy mind is concerned, it's all connected, and everything is all connected.

All you have to do as the author of a major meta-story such as Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones or In Serein (that's my trilogy, from a universe described in Elory's Joy), is to follow the strands and document them.

Yes and that takes time.

And, of course, you need to FOLLOW the strands. Consciously FOLLOW the strands. Rather than overwriting what is actually happening "because it would sell better" or "my mom wouldn't like it."

With the Classic Game from Project Sanctuary alone, you can create a million metastories if you have the time to follow the strands that unfold the universe your energy mind has created for you.

And unlike Tolkien and Martin, or Mr Roddenberry, for that matter, you don't get "stuck" in a single world for the rest of your life. If you don't want to. You can visit many worlds, and that is in the set up of Elory's Joy.

If you want to get started right away, ask your energy mind to send you a single object that will become your world seed for your own meta story.

Use the Classic Game to step into that habitat where the object exists, and take it from there. If you write down exactly what happens and you keep at it, you will get a metastory out of it. Pretty much guaranteed. If you don't write it down, and you keep on visiting that world regardless, every single night before you go to sleep and sometimes in between as well, you still get your very own metastory that is amazing and transformative for YOU.

So there we have it.

It's simple.

Take a blank sheet of paper, the bigger, the better. 

Don't overthink it. 

Let the hand with the pen put an X on the paper. That's your starting point. 

Now use the Classic Game below to "step into that world at that place." 

It will give you information about that place marked X. 

It will give you information as to what's the the south, north, east and west as well. 

At any point as your map unfolds, you can place another X Marks The Spot and step into that. 

Simples. 

So get your piece of paper, your pen, and get started making a world of your own.
